(Hi everyone! I'm Pete. I know there's another thread for introductions, but I'm here because of the clip.  Have loved the show since ~2008, and I hope everyone takes this for what it is which is to show that I think AP Mike is AWESOME and the Best Show is AWESOME. And no, I don't really know what happened in the hurricane but the way it was told on the air made Mike sound, um, awesome.)

I had to research which record that was, after mending my split sides due to your witticism. It's called 'Ozone', that record is weeeeird.

Here are their best albums in order: Timothy's Monster, Blissard, Demon Box, Phanerothyme. Those are the ones I've listened enough to rank, but the rest of them are good as well, I thought their prog rock efforts on The Death-Defying Unicorn was very good, and I'm not a prog rock fan. Same with Heavy Metal Fruit, although that is, as the name implies, more of a metal album. Black Holes/Blank Canvas is a fun, straight up, no-nonsense rock record.

If anyone's even remotely interested I'll post some personal favourites tomorrow. Who am I kidding, no one cares and I'll do it anyway.

The Girl Behind Me (great name for a band eh?) has a lot of issues.  She's in her 30's but dresses like that Stephanie from Lazytown.

She's from Aberdeen so she talks like she's constantly trying to swallow a whole salmon.

And she's noisy.  Everything she does is all about getting attention.  Whether it's coughing (like she's trying to bring up a whole salmon), blowing her nose (like she's trying to expunge a salmon nasally) or shouting (erm, like she's shouting at salmon currently underwater) it's just noise, noise, noise, noise, noise all day.

What makes me laugh is she's one of those nose blowers that make a sound like a salmon blowing a trumpet (I'm going to drop the 'salmanolgy' because it's not stretching) and then in the very next breath she'll tell you that she keeps having nose bleeds.

I'm not surprised.

I've tried pointing out that she should go and see a doctor or check in to to Dignitas or something but no.

So that's what I'm listening to.
