Julie must get Rookie of the Year. Steve is a good caller, but Julie is a force that can change the show from a W to an L or vice-versa.
I would also like if Spike got an award for improvement. The Biggest Loser or something like that.
And PFT must get Best Guest.

I 100% agree with you, and I would like to emphasize the need to award SOMETHING to Fredrick(s) from New Port Richey.

I did an image search for "Fredericks New Port Richey" and this came up...

Which is pretty much how I imaging F-NPR looking.  But this came up, too:

Tom should maybe be a little careful dealing with this character.

Best guest has to PFT for the duet w/PBR on "Knockin Boots Now".  That might be in the top five of funniest things that has ever happened.

Best show of the year?  My vote would be Mayubinatorial debate in a runaway, Balance Buddy.

i'd like to see a "caller w/ the worst phone" category. don't know if anyone's mentioned that already.

the problem is Tom's real tough on those guys and gets rid of them in seconds so we probably don't much of them by name.

Saddest Turf/Flame out: Harry (like Harry Potter) from Rutherford, New Jersey (September 16, 2008 show)

Harry burned so hot from the beginning, it was nearly destined for him to flame out.  I still laugh thinking about Harry describing the star of Uncle Stevie's film "Overdrive," as "Emilio Estevez...Sheen!"  Then he goes on to describe his affinity for PBR, who he seems to believe is a real person.  If that wasn't enough, he has very developed views on which diner in the Jersey area has the best chocolate cream pie.

Sadly, Harry called back a few times and was shut down almost immediately.  I hope he wasn't deterred, but I haven't heard him call in awhile.

Also, I don't want to get into anything unseemly, but if there were a Cutest Voice category, Maya from Brooklyn would win this hands down.  (Also September 16, 2008 show, right after Harry's call)

Creepiest call:  the one when Jason said he'd like to shrink Tom so he could carry him around in his pocket.

That was one of my favorite calls. I've used that line since.
hey what's up

I second that.

Maya's voice isn't cute really, it's downright sultry.  If she talks like that normally, I'd assume every guy who knows her is perpetually under the impression that they're on the verge of sleeping with her at all times.

But then she disagrees with you over something silly.  OMG, so hot.

In other words, she is probably the most evil caller.

Worst Caller:  Henry Owings

Rookie of the Year:  Emma

Best Guest:  John Hodgman

I forgot Emma is a rookie. I withdraw any former support for NoHo Steve.

Also, can we get an award for Frank from Weehawken?  Most GOMP's? No, what's that? Just send him packing?

Ha!  Yes, which doesn't alleviate the idea that she's on the verge of sleeping with you.  Oh Maya's hot voice, what are we gonna do with you?  Don't answer that.

Sarah and Nicksy - this is a reference to a Prince Charles line where he said he'd like to be carried around in Camilla Parker Bowles' pocket.  Then he said with his luck (you know, being a billionaire titular monarch-to-be) he'd probably come back as a tampon.

Dana Carvey spoofed this in his last sketch ever on SNL.
I really don't appreciate your sarcastic, anti-comedy tone, Bro!
