I hope it becomes a semi-regular thing. I realize they're both very busy people, but it'd be cool if they could sporadically put up shows on occasions where they happen to be in the same town.

I was thrilled to hear "Mausoleum" by The Tokeleys, featuring John Junk and Evan "Funk" Davies, as the introductory music to this podcast.

May I suggest an alternative title?

I listened tonight on a 3.2 mile walk home from work ( why not? It was wonderful here in New England, for once ) and I loved every second. Enjoyable, informative and often "ell-oh-ell-eee." The people I passed probably thought I was a nutter, but you can never help actually laughing out loud, can you?

Even if it only happens once a year, it's a great start. Loved every second. Best Show WTF?, ever.

Thanks Omar, I wanted to find out what that was but I couldn't understand the lyrics enough to google them. That got me so depressed I ate my house. But now I can listen to the song whenever I want!

Sorry to hear you are now homeless, KOB.

How's the social safety-net working for you?

I never disliked Marc Maron, but I am new to him over all. (I somehow missed his entire comedy career until a few years go figure.) But he really does deserve the praise for WTF. At this point, his podcast has became a requirement for every professional comedian, and it all started out of desperation and some basic recording equipment in his digs. I'm so impressed with Maron these days.

So obviously, I'm happy to see Tom and Marc build their friendship in public like this. That said, as amazing as this podcast was, I'm not sure I want to hear more *precisely because of what they were talking about*, which is working each's own ass off with zero payoff, literally. They managed to not make it a depressing discussion at all, which is a feat of amazing talent. But when I put the headphones down, I became really sad and angry at how unfair it is for them in reality.

It's clear to me why I love the Best Show and why I'm quickly getting addicted to WTF: these guys have proved in the most raw way what good guys they are, and they deserve the world.

EDIT: I would love to hear more of this podcast in general, obviously. I realize I wasn't clear on that note.

The Christian Bale meltdown analysis by Tom was so freaking brilliant.
