Post by: B_Buster on November 29, 2009, 11:36:44 AM
It's not that bad. And the video for Must Be Santa is one of his best goofs ever.

In the end, all the proceeds for the album go to charity too, so it can't be bad even if it is.

This is basically how I feel. And I agree with Mike, "Must Be Santa" is tremendous.

I really hate to bag on a charity album...

... so I'll, uh, keep my mouth shut.

I wonder if he is wearing one of the aforementioned wigs.  He's wearing different hats, though.

I feel like I injected charity guilt into this thread way too soon, I apologize.

This album is charity in the way donating tattered underwear to Goodwill is charity.

I have a hard time articulating how awful it feels to be a witness to this era where all these great old icons just fall apart. but i'm going to a callback for a flowers commercial now so i guess I should just shut up.

Really? You think this is what's happening to Dylan? I think he's doing pretty well - he's turned into what he was always pretending to be.

I played this album on Christmas Eve with my family this year.  Bob's creepy singing kept everyone on edge a little.  Everyone was a little more aware then usual.  Plus, I got crap from them every 5 minutes for playing the album.  Needless to say it will be spinning again next year.

For the longest time, I would tell myself, "It's a front! Bob's just doing all this dumb stuff because it's a new 'persona' of his!"
