Title: Going to the Farmer's Market is My Favorite Thing To Do

And fruit is my favorite food group.

For the past week I have been eating:
- Watermelon
- Beautiful Blueberries
- Raspberries
- Bananas
- with Peanut Butter;

nonstop.

totally. i made dinner for 7 on saturday and everything but the pasta was bought at the farmers market that morning. my favorite was the roasted asparagus. yum.

Asparagus is the greatest vegetable. I like to grill it.

If you get to go to the one near Prospect Park and the public library in Brooklyn (and are not a vegan or vegetarian) visit the FLYING PIGS FARM stand.

Their farm is right around the corner from me, and their meat is supposedly delicious (though I wouldn't know, being a vegetarian myself). The pigs look really healthy and happy every time I ride by them, so I can vouch for them being treated well.

One of the walks I used to take frequently the year my family spent in England took me past a pig farm.  All the young ones would race up to the fence to say hello when I stopped to admire them.  It was great.

There was also a common right next to our house where horses and cows roamed free.  Periodically, the horses would decide to thunder past our house and run through the town.  That was great, too.

ive noticed here in the desert, farmers market=crafts, jewelry, food vendors

back home (counting the days til the big move), farmers market= http://www.memphisfarmersmarket.com/

pigs are awesome! they have so much personality.
