I'm so mad at myself for missing the boat on this.

Nevermind seeing Jon Wurster play with Bob Mould, or seeing Maria Bamford and Patton Oswalt, I could've seen Tortoise play all of Millions Now Living Will Never Die, one of my all-time favorite albums, and I just today bothered to find out who played the festival!

I feel so old and square.  I guess I need to re-add shovel.com to my bookmarks, lest I blow a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity like that again.

Bless WFMU for archiving and streaming a bunch of it, but it looks like they didn't archive the Friday night show, which was the night for which I definitely would've made the trip had I known about it.  Sigh.

I hope some decent video turns up. :-\

I'm going to see My Bloody Valentine tonight. I'm so excited, my heart's skipping. Never mind the palpatations that will be manufactured once Kevin Sheilds starts shaking everyone with a 20-minute roar. I bought ear-plugs this morning. The last time I saw them play I was 17, and I don't remember my ears hurting that much since then.
