Title: Prognosis for HBO's Vinyl?

Anyone hear anything about Vinyl that speaks well for its chances? Should I abandon hope right away or be cautiously psyched?

I'm hoping it's closer to FM than High Fidelity (or dare I dream for WKRP quality?) but after a lifetime of disappointing music business tv shows my expectations are very low.

Looks cool.  I'll probably watch it.  I tend to believe everything in a period piece, if the visuals and acting are on point.  It's a problem.  It's why I believe Genghis Khan spoke English, and why I'm deathly afraid of Winter.
