A new show coming to CNBC called "Staten Island Hustle" sounds very familiar:

"Every week, these born hustlers meet to discuss what big ideas they are cooking up. They all have different skills and different day jobs but, together, they're looking to strike it rich. Whether it's hustling, bartering or negotiating, these fellas always figure out a way to get the deal done."
Pretty similar to Tom's idea for a reality show, "Staten Island Garbage Rats":

Nutshelling it, the idea for SIGR was Tom and Mike pulling stuff from garbage pits on Staten Island and hustling up ways to sell the stuff for a profit. Hmmm....
Staten Island Hustle has a main character, named Dom (not Dom Scharpling) who's nicknamed "The Boss," the same nickname Tom proposed for himself on his show. Other characters on "Hustle" include a guy named Mike, and a guy named Ron (Ron or Ronald is probably one of the most common Newbridge names, along with Milt and Mort.)
This Staten Island Hustle show seems like a total ripoff of Staten Island Garbage Rats to me.

It's like a cross between Staten Island Garbage Rats and the Newbridge Ratmen minor league baseball team!
Everyone is copying/ripping off Scharpling. Come on, y'all it's time to have fun!
