It just hit me what I could have said during a call last night: I still can't decide on someone with whom I wouldn't want to share a foxhole or flee through a swamp, but I sure as hell would pity anyone who was doing the latter with me. FOT, if any of you ever has the misfortune of being handcuffed to me in such a situation, you have my permission to hack off my hand (or chew through my wrist, if you lack a knife) so that you'll have a chance. In a foxhole, however, I think I'd probably be aces. Sedentary crisis I'm good at.

You sell yourself short. Thinking of your dog's separation anxiety (and its accompanying feces-based redecoration of your humble abode) would propel you through those swampy marshes at speeds you hadn't previously imagined.
-
You don't know me as well as you think, Josh. Perhaps my wide apathetic streak doesn't show up clearly here and in the chat.
-
C'mon Sarah, your apathy could actually be a GOOD thing if you were in the bayou; remember all those experts who advise you stay put when you're lost.

Would not want to be stuck with Kathy Griffith

Ah, but I was imagining an escape scenario, à la The Defiant Ones.

The Defiant Ones; yep, you got me there.
