Title: The Monster Squad on DVD

Does Everyone remember The Cult hit The Monster Squad? Well its now out on DVD with a 20th anniversary edition. Check it out its awesome. Released in 1987 and directed by Fred Dekker. You guys will love it.

I saw it again a while ago, I remember being shocked by how much they bandied the word "fag" around...it gets said like 5 times in the first 3 minutes!

It's perhaps ironic that while they used "fag" quite a bit they used the word "dork" in place of "fuck."

As in, if I'm recalling correctly, "Have you ever been dorked?"

I just watched it. It was awesome! Thanks for the recommendation. They also used dork instead of dick. Frankie was my fav.

Actually, "dork" is used as a minced oath variant of "dick" in the earliest documentation of the word. This is a fact (http://www.wordorigins.org/index.php/site/comments/dork/).
