Holy moley!

Seriously amazing timing, Big Dipper. Holy.
(Maxwell's! So going!)

Wow! Who'da thunk it would happen after all this time, so awesome.

I want to buy a non-$99 version of the Heavens CD.
I'm sure Mac is making it happen as we speak!

Hey! I have this! Is it really worth 99 bucks? It does have the "Boo Boo" EP has bonus cuts but still...

Would you send people mp3s of the record if they promised they'll buy the reissue when it comes out next spring?

I don't think Tom would approve of this file sharing thing. But we'll see.

Big Dipper is indeed reuniting for a handful of shows in April 2008 and the release of a 3-CD set. The release will include a 12-page booklet with liner notes by Tom Scharpling and, most importantly, songs from the band's first 3 long-out-of-print albums along with the requisit rarities, unreleased tracks, and even the original video for "Faith Healer".
Check out this interview on Rock Town Hall titled "Big Dipper's Gary Waleik Hears the Sirens' Call (http://www.rocktownhall.com/blogs/index.php?title=big_dipper_waleik&more=1&c=1&tb=1&pb=1)".

What's the big deal about this guy. His only hit was Chantilly Lace
-
That was Steve Albini?

I am there!
I never bought the Heavens/Boo-Boo CD when it was out. I was still in my high and mighty about moving into the digital age. I've been making due with my vinyl copies of those records, although I did digitize those records a couple of years ago. So much for my youthful idealism.

Big Dipper the band plays Big Dipper the game. I'm charmed by this video and wanted to share with the FOT.

This is wonderful, thanks for sharing. I had no idea about that Cat Stevens song!
