Title: Happy Tom'sDay to All!
Post by: KickTheBobo on September 21, 2007, 09:14:01 PM
...like the sound of that?

I was thinking: TBSOWFMU needs it's own holiday!

skip work, watch Roadhouse & Clifford back to back, toss back a few Coke Blaks, exchange gifts...

maybe it's celebrated annually on Best Show Patron Saint Ted Knight's birthday: December 7th?

this of course would have to sanctioned by The Kid himself (this ain't no democracy)

any thoughts?

Could we hire a DJ to spin unfair records late into the night?

I LOVE this idea, but perhaps Pearl Harbor day isn't the best choice.
How about we do it on Cheesecake day?  September 13th?

Well, everyone does like cheesecake. But that means we gotta wait a whole year. Surely there's got to be another holiday that revolves around a universally-loved food.

August 14 was sort of our Pearl Harbor, if we want Tom's Day to be a solemn affair.

I'd prefer it to be joyous.

Is that a leftover prop from a Trent L. Strauss film?

Didn't mean for that to come off as mean-spirited. I like me some Erika from Baltimore.

I thought it was something from the Pick-Up Artist's wardrobe. Can you imagine going into "a set" with that on your head: "Did see the two girls fighting outside?"

What kind of party are we having? Is it formal? Cuz if it's formal I have to wear my fancy hat.

The reason this holiday won't catch on is because there already is a Tom'sDay, right between Monday and Wednesday.
