Stupid gigantic Black T-Shirt.
Stupid gigantic Black Tuxedo Jacket(?), shoulder pad broken, hideously wrinkled.
Stupid white button on the lapel of his tuxedo jacket. 

And of course:

Stupid jean-shorts.
Stupid white low-top sneakers, no socks.

So I just watched this thing.  Two questions:

Why is "And she got on a plane to go to San Francisco for the day" funny?

Have his pantlets always so resembled culottes or what used to be known as "gaucho pants"?
