Title: Gimme World Series rock!
Post by: emdasher on October 25, 2007, 09:34:57 PM: Indie media outlet FOX has already played The Pixies' "Here Comes Your Man" in the bumpers for the Boston games of the World Series, which has me wondering what they'll play in Denver.

Apples in Stereo? String Cheese Incident?

Also, I hope the series goes back to Boston so I have a chance to hear "Roadrunner."

Post by: chrisfoll577 on October 26, 2007, 07:05:47 AM: unfortunately the pixies selection is probably as good as it going to get for boston rock bumpers during the world series on fox. it seems like the go-to clips are the played-out 'dirty water' by the standells and the mighty mighty bosstones' 'knock on wood'.

during the alcs vs. the indians i got real sick of the p.o.t.u.s.a's 'cleveland rocks'.

The Sox were in negotiations with the Nervous Eaters to use "Loretta" when Mark Loretta was in the roster. I s hit you not.
