Go, Tarkus, Go!
I can sort of imagine that Keith Emerson's moog synthesizer blasts would look like photon torpedos...
(this would have been the coolest freakin' movie EVER)

"This is a bit called Tarkus."

Ugh. I hate them, but not even passionately enough to throw them in my Hate Pit.
I just want to be able to ignore them.

Wow, I am kind of digging that. Where's the other 27 minutes?

Dave, your "My Dinner with Andre 3000" made me laugh the hardest I've laughed in a while. What's even more great is that it seemed so tossed-off, like you had just come up with it. Kudos!

My Dinner With Andre 3000 made me laugh out loud as well, but I was kinda pulling for My Dinner With Anderson, Bruford, Wakeman and Howe as well. Quality stuff, sir.

i'm partial to Tarkus cause i heard Jason Forrest play it on his radio show a long time ago and he was all "yeah! TARKUS!!!!!" and i was all like "yeah!!!! TARKUS!!!!!!!" and it was awesome. he also made a Cock Rock Disco shirt with Tarkus on it and i bought one but he never sent it to me. but thats ok.
i have to say, i also want to see the Fannypack movie someone suggested. and i didn't really even like their music that much...

I listened to Tarkus straight through yesterday, at the end of a hard day constructing confidence intervals. SUBLIME! I mean, it was sublime to listen to it, not that the band Sublime played. Though that would be good, I bet.
