Back in December 2005, I cooked up a couple of weblog posts to drop some music (and assorted musings) from two of my fave Christmas specials -- the mindblowing Emmett Otter's Jug-Band Christmas (1977) and Christmas Eve on Sesame Street (1978). The first link contains the complete EOJ-BC soundtrack, a Recidivism exclusive!
Easy Riders, Singing Muppets, Part 1 (http://www.recidivism.org/2005/12/easy_riders_singing_muppets_pa.html) (includes a link to an interview with Emmett Otter in which he references The Jesus Lizard and Steve Albini).
Easy Riders, Singing Muppets, Part 2 (http://www.recidivism.org/2005/12/easy_riders_singing_muppets_pa_2.html).

This might have been more appropriate for the Fake Movie Posters post, but anyway, some old Holiday Greeting Cards with my kids in starring roles:

No longer afraid of abduction, Rainer?

No, I guess not. They've all got moustaches now, so it's unlikely they'll be recognized in the flesh. Where's my chippy?

Erika,
I'd be a fool to try to one-up a Supercaller, but I actually prefer this link for "Christmastime for the Jews":
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7660264976994002478&q=christmastime+for+the+jews&total=7&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1 (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-7660264976994002478&q=christmastime+for+the+jews&total=7&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1)
'Cause this version has the closing credits :)

And because I don't like horn-tooting without leaving something under the tree, here's a video of a teenage girl lip-synching to the Waitresses' "Christmas Wrapping," which I find charming.
