Title: SSD rerun, featuring... James?
Post by: Kedzie on December 29, 2007, 04:27:15 PM
I just listened to the Seven Second Delay rerun from last week (circa '94) and they were dedicating an entire show to an annoying caller in hopes that he wouldn't bother them for at least nine months.

Anyway, the caller's name was Dave from Fort Lee, and I know it was a long time ago, but it sure sounded like that James moron to me. Anybody else hear it and think the same thing?

It's interesting that you recognized "Dave from Fort Lee" and not "Randy".

I think you're making a joke that's going over my head. Don't remember a Randy. Just thought that guy sounded like James.

I think that in 94 James' biggest concern was "When will mama change my nappie?"

I'm sure you're right Dave, and I am not going to sit here and argue with a Super-Caller.

But listen to the SSD (it's a really funny one) and tell me that kid doesn't sound like James.

How dare that "Randy" character claim to be the first-ever caller to 7SD. It's common knowledge that Tom was the first caller ever. That Randy guy does a real bush-league impersonation of Tom.

Sorry it's not me. I am however the creator of the SSD fan club on facebook, and have called quite a few times in the past.

I am wrong. Apologies to Poughkeepsie. Unless you are James.
But if you are Dave, then apologies. I think.

Anyway, happy new year.
