Title: The New Year

Let's hope it's a good one.

Anyone have any delightful plans for the evening?  I'm torn between venturing down to the newly reopened bar for whatever festivities it's planning to host and remaining home, where no doubt I'll end up drinking the bottle of pseudochampagne I have hanging around and logging on to AIM in the wee hours in search of conversation.  All in all, the bar sounds saner and healthier, although I will almost certainly bum cigarettes if I go there.

Of course, I may also go to bed before midnight, exhausted from all the shoveling I have to get started on in a few minutes.

P.S. My new Newbridge hoodie has become my preferred snow-shoveling uniform.  Thanks again, Jason!  Law suit be damned.

Happy New Year Sarah and FOT!

We're going to two house parties (which are usually more on the calm but drunk side of things) and might light some fireworks. I predict there will be taco dip involved and maybe little pigs in a blanket.

This is the most last minute new year of my life, but I believe we're going to a house party and watching the fireworks in the center of town.

I will be working, so that I can make sure that normal people get to have fun and get wasted on their special little holiday. If I sound a tad bitter, well....
