Is coming to Raleigh on February 21 - anyone seen him do this? Is it worth going to?

I saw him do his spoken word about ten years ago. It just goes on and on and on, longer then some Grateful Dead shows I've been to.

I saw him about 14 years ago when one of his spoken word tours came through Northeastern University, and I thought it was great. I don't know if he does as much reminiscing about growing up in the DC scene (there wasn't any on the IFC broadcast of one of his recent performances in Jerusalem), but I'd go see him if he came through the Boston area again.

Tim he is a doing a show at Lupo's March 1.

The show I saw was pretty good (can't remember when - it's probably been 10 years ago or so). The part that sucked was having to stand outside in the freezing Ann Arbor winter for hours because my cousin, who'd driven, wanted to try and get an autograph.

It gets really boring when he does "Drums/Space."

I saw him and he spoke word for 7 hours. Breaking the previous record of 6.5 hours set only months earlier by J.W. Baz

He spoke about 3 hours this past Fall. I have always enjoyed him and his rants but it does get quite long at times. He use to do shorter spoken word sets years ago but really has expanded it. He is a pretty decent story teller and if you enjoy that, I say go for it.
