Thanks everybody!!!! Also, if you look at the homepage of HuffPo, there's an awesome screenshot of me with cake on my face next to Alec Baldwin's OpEd about the FDA's scary decision to permit cloned beef. It's awesome!
Jason, I'm a ghost! A scary ghost with internet access!!!
-
You're a ghost!
-
That was awesome. "Kick-ass rock star Mike Huckabee." Haw haw haw.
-
Wow, I don't know who you are, Julie Klausner, but I like the way you think.
-
Dave, I'm sure there are hundreds of synagogues in TN brimming with people just like me, aren't there? Aren't there?
....aren't there?
thanks again, guys, for the kind words. Huckabee/Seinfeld 08!

You mean beautiful women with a sense of humor? Nah, I don't know hardly any.

Too bad you survived Young Frankenstein only to die in a senseless blood-typing accident.
-
How did you get the broccoli out of your hair?
-
Sarah--your sentence could have ended after the word "Frankenstein." Act Two was even WORSE!
Tim--the answer to your question is "sweet, cleansing blood"
-
In that case, I take it back: the so-called accident was clearly sweet release.
-
sweet release.
OMG! I love that Aerosmith song!
-
Julie, why did you go back in? May g_d have mercy on your soul. I hope you didn't pay for that shit.

I hear the next Mel Brooks musical is based on the Curb Your Enthusiasm episode where Larry David stars in The Producers musical. It's called Mel Brooks' New Musical The Curb Your Enthusiasm Episode Where Larry David Is In The Producers The Musical: The Musical!. I heard they already have the film rights sold for this (to Mel Brooks) and they're going to make an episode of The Office where Steve Carrell goes to see this musical on Broadway and somehow ends up onstage trying to do his shooting-people improv with the guy playing Larry David (played by Ed Begley, Jr.) in the middle of the part where Larry David (Begley, Jr.) is supposed to be forgetting his lines!
-
Hilarious! It took me until about the three minute mark to realize those diet books are actually real.
-
Great video!
-
LULZ
-
Jason-
I went back for Act 2 because I love seeing a huge thing fail to its completion. And I was curious about "Puttin' On The Ritz," which was crowd-pleasing, because it was a song written by Irving Berlin. And no, I didn't pay for it: it was part of my community service for this thing I did to a guy one time (I regret nothing).
-
When will we see another Welcome To Our House? They get better with each episode.
-
ummmmmmm
soon!
thank you!! :)
-
Just yesterday I (re)watched the Julie & Jackie videos Mommy Time and Trivia Night on the new ucbcomedy.com, and I remember thinking, "Man, there really should be more videos with these gals around". And now this!
Great stuff Ms Klausner! And ditto on the reaction to the books - Skinny Bitch? Ew brother.
-
Tim--the answer to your question is "sweet, cleansing blood"
Oh, so the cake actually turned out to be a good thing. Who needs food processors? Or that judgmental Huckabee, for that matter? I'll be sure to PM you my recipe for jelly donut bluefish.
-
Yeah,
Jason-

Yeah, I could see that being the house-bringer-downer, like "Springtime for Hitler" was in The Producers. I don't want to know what you did to that guy to make you have to (or, god forbid, "get to" go to that thing, though).
BUT LISTEN!
I posted your video to my blog, which these days consists of either me whining about how theater sucks or posting funny things I get from this board, and this guy at ArtsJournal, who I do not know, picked it up:

I feel like the first person to get a deadly virus!!!
-
Whoa! Thanks, Jason: that "Book Daddy" character seems like he means bizness.

Tim- at the risk of giving anything away, is your recipe for bluefish jelly donut "stick a bluefish in a jelly donut"? because that's my favorite R.L. Burnside song EVER.
crimestick-Thanks for your kind words, and for alerting me about my videos on ucbcomedy.com so I can sue Matt Walsh.

Nope. It's kind of the other way around. Think 'turducken.'

Julie, if you get a book deal out of this, I want a free copy. On the other hand, if you find Book Daddy waiting outside of your building, I had nothing to do with it.
-
What about Cat News (http://www.ucbcomedy.com/videos/play/657)!!!!
-
Josh,
Here's what Smiley's been up to since she pulled a Howard Beale...

Josh,

EPIC AWWWWWs
-
Awwwww. I love Cat News.
Is Smiley a pterodactyl polydactyl?
-
Haha...no, Smiley's got a normal amount of toes.
The cat who was supposed to be "interviewed" in that episode, Mugsy, is indeed a "mitten cat," with freakish thumbs.
But once we got to Mugsy's apartment and the camera was on, she TOTALLY CHOKED. She couldn't hold it together. We came back to my place and re-shot it with Smiley, who is a PRO.
