Title: Mark Bowden article about David Simon

Now that The Atlantic is completely free on-line including the vast archives. Went searching and found this which actually just came out in the newest issue. If your not familiar with Bowden he has written a few books you might have heard of Black Hawk Down, Killing Pablo, and Philly Boy Roys favorite the one about the Eagles (the football team not the shit band).

Just started reading this piece. My Dad got me a subscription to The Atlantic for Christmas.

HA! I read this headline, and for whatever reason thought that someone at The Atlantic had written a story about that kid Simon Rich.

Hey, I love Ninja Warrior. Will anybody contribute to a topic about that show, and the richness it has brought to my understanding of everyday Japanese citizens, who think that crawling through a plexiglass obstacle course makes them Ninjas? Before this show, I would have just dismissed them outright. Now I feel like I underSTAND them.

Love The Atlantic my subscription lapsed a few years ago.
