PTA deserved it more. 

What did Daniel Day-Lewis mean when he said "hit me with the handsomest bludgeon"?  I didn't get that

On the bright side, film geeks will be nursing the world's biggest hard-on for him for at least the next 5 years or so.

I remember PTAs first reaction to losing the Oscar to Magnolia. You could see him blurt out the F-word right next to Fiona who immediately gave him affection. It was pretty tragic.
