I was listening to the Three Chord Monte show today and I thought I heard him say
that Yo La Tengo will be playing this Sunday at FMU.
Has anyone heard about this?
Are my ears playing tricks on me?

It's true.

Yep! From 5-8 PM (http://www.wfmu.org/marathon/schedule.shtml)!
It's probably going to be at least $75 per song. That's just conjecture. I am going to request "Money, Money, Money" by ABBA. Because that's what I want people to fork on over to WFMU.

They do it every year - playing cover requests for pledges. Their "Yo La Tengo Is Murdering the Classics" album compiles past marathon performances.

Plus, Ira Kaplan has been doing fill-ins! He even came in on Christmas Eve from 11 PM-2 AM, which probably isn't a big deal for him since he is probably Jewish. But still!

Thanks! I'm going to be volunteering for Teenage Wasteland from 3-5.
It would be awesome if stay and see YLT.

My apologies for typing too fast.

Probably?

Well, I don't know if he's a practicing Jew. I mean, aside from the annual Chanukah shows, does he go to Temple? Is he like my dad, and he just does the High Holy days?

I changed my mind. I'm totes requesting "Macarthur Park."
Does anyone have a list of all the songs they've ever played?
