Post by: chris v on February 27, 2008, 09:23:17 AM
I drew this in support of my favorite slogan for 2008. Get 'em Tom!

You'll notice Henry Rollins himself makes an appearance behind Kevin Smith.

Is that PBR in the left foreground?

Looks like he's wearing an Eagles Zubaz tshirt! I love the mix between characters, famous folk, and regular old slobs.

I also think I see Grover, Bender, someone in a Mickey Mouse hat, a super hero of sorts, and a turtle.

Well done!

The expression on Tom's face is great! He looks as mad as Moses right before he smashed the commandments...
But then I see the ABBA shirt, the microphone, and I lean more towards Tesco Vee.

Good job on the hands, by the way, kudos.

I'm not even at home. I saw this on the AST front page and came right here to say: you real good.

The subtle juno belly is elegant. Can we get an ID-key?

That's right, I posted in this forum. Once a year, just like Dr. Shirley Jackson.

yeah, I thought it was cool and awful nice of Jouster to use this on aspecialthing.

Here's an ID key I threw together for you guys. When I was working on the drawing, I was a lot of pulling random people out of my head and just drawing 'em. And now that I'm tearing my way through the archives, I could probably do an even more thorough/referential job of this! I'm not sure why I get that impulse - I guess that guy who drew those 'Where's Waldo' books really owes me a lot of time in my life spent drawing in far too much detail.
