It's kinda f-ed up, but I loved reading this. Thankfully no blood was shed as a result of this plot.

“A group of them took a boat, and were all tooled up and planned to attack him from the sea,” Tom Mangold, the host of the BBC program featuring Mr. Young, told The Sunday Telegraph. “They planned the attack from the sea so they could enter his property from the garden and avoid security at the front.” Fortunately, it turned out that the tough guys on land had shaky sea legs, a poor weather eye and not much persistence. “The boat was hit by a storm, and all of the men were thrown overboard,” Mr. Mangold said. “All survived, and there was not said to have been any further attempt on Jagger’s life.”

Poor Mick Jagger. If they're not trying to rob him, they're trying to kill him.

I love this story. What a bunch of nitwits. "That'll teach him to be dumb enough to hire us!"

I desperately want to see this story adapted for film.

This is what happens when you try to make a boat by putting pontoons on a chopper. Oh, you nutty Hell's Angels. Will you ever win?

I desperately want to see this story adapted for film.
My favorite part about this story is how they completely abandoned the idea after this. I like to imagine that scene in the movie, a bunch of soaking wet, befuddled Angels shaking their heads, reporting back to Sonny Barger in the back room of some bar, sounding not unlike The Gorch: "It's impossible. The guy's completely untouchable."

Also, I want Pat K to write it.

I understand the plot included drafting an unidentified 10-year-old into delivering a monkfish in a cooler to Mr Jagger's associate.
