Doom/drone band Hyatari have a song called "Freeform for the Disenfranchised".
Judging by their serious nature it would seem unlikely that they would be inspired by TBSOWFMU for a song title.
I don't expect much discussion about this, but I felt compelled to mention it nonetheless.

Never judge a band by its "serious nature" - it doesn't mean they don't appreciate the funny.
-
sounds like a C and D is in order from the stereolaffs boys.
-
I love the cheesy photo - that shot is always done for a band, especially if you want to look like TOWERING GODS OF ROCK!
For example, in the first page of results in an image search for Pearl Jam:

I just wonder if the photographer for this band had to talk them into it, sneak the shot when they weren't looking, or (worst of all options), they REQUESTED it.
-
I'm thinking they're posed far too deliberately for it to have been a fluke.
-
Especially hat boy in the back.
-
I can't believe they were so insensitive as to leave their drum machine out of the band picture. Perhaps Blake is in the band.
-
Actually, the band is improbably tall... some say that the drummer (aka Hat Boy) is eighteen feet. The photographer had no choice.
The first picture (taken from above) required a cherry picker.
-
The CD came out in 2004, now that I look. How long has TBSOWFMU been officially considered home for the disenfranchised?
-
Also, I knew I should have used a live photo to begin with >_<
Foolish DigiDan.

I guess most of his height is in his shins. Think of the potential splints.
