I'm a big fan of Allan Guthrie's writing. He just brightens up the world with his tales of wonder.

I'll have to check out some of his books, sounds fun!

Maybe you'd enjoy some of this chap's stories. Not great literature but great fodder for crime films

Stuart Gordon made a sick little film from King of the Ants.

I'm very familiar with Higson's TV work* and his Young Bond books. His other stuff is a bit hard to find over here though.

Try out Kiss Her Goodbye first it was put out by Hard Case Crime.

*oh and Jason worked with him

Simon Day is in 'Run Fatboy Run' - a decent sized role.

It's been up on sites for a few months, and to be honest the scenes where its just Pegg and Moran are great.

I predict that film will be a pile of shit, based purely on my own prejudices.
