Pronouncing -man in the compressed way often found in last names.  Hard to write.

But, Taxman.  Troubleman.  Etc.

There's another way to say it? Not in any neighborhood I've ever lived in.

Some people say aaa-ba (like the "a" in apple)  instead of aah-ba.  But, as Crimestick pointed out, Tom says it correctly.
