I like it too!

Who was the inspiration for the actress in the 4/18 comic? It kinda looks like Laura Dern.

 That's what I thought.

Well done, Jixby.

Thanks guys!

SAMIR! That was going to be one of many audio tracks I was working on for a DVD project that I kind of fell out of doing on account of friends dying/emergency hernia surgery/depression (life basically) but I just found the guy who did sound for that Desert Blues movie (or really he found me) and so now I really want to revive the project.

I would really love an rss feed for this, so I can follow it daily. Any chance of that?

I used to love when he would come on MSNBC at 7pm. I wish they wouldnt have stopped that.

Oh man, me too. on our cable system, MSNBC shared the channel with some porn channel, so after 7 PM it would switch to scrambled sexy movies, and my mom had it blocked from our cable. I was very upset.

I would really love an rss feed for this, so I can follow it daily. Any chance of that?

Man I have no experience with rss feeds. I don't even know how they work. I'll look into it though, it sounds like it's the wave of the future and i'm very enthusiastic about the future!

Also, speaking of Desert Blues, I made a comic book sequel to it. I didn't really show it off because:

1. It was part of that DVD project I mentioned that I never finished and was meant to be unveiled then.
2. I misspelled ROOSEVELT for the entire comic.

Jixby, I didn't know what Desert Blues was, but still thought it was brilliant, dark, and hilarious.  Now that I know it's even brillianter.  And the misspelling of Roosevelt is just gravy.

Thank you you are making me blush :(

I decided to show my creation some respect and I bought a grown-up website url. earlyconan.com. It's mine now!

Seriously Jixby, I follow nothing without an rss feed, literally NOTHING, because I think its rude to make me have to go to your site every day, when all you have to do is write some characters on a keyboard to make it easier for me. That being said, I have checked your site every single day since it's inception, and even if you don't make my life easier, I will follow that shit into HELL. I love it, so much. Sorry for raving, but you have given me huge laffs, every day, and I would recommend it to anyone with a humor-brain.

Thanks! That one's based on a true story Mark Riddles told me from his childhood.

My personal favorite so far is up now. Here it is, reposted for posterity:

It's back, with an extra long Waynes Wedding and a comic that explains where Conan has been this entire time!

I won't be updating it daily anymore, because of me moving and stuff. I might speed ahead with Waynes Wedding because I realized theres an Achewood wedding going on now and I am going to aggressively try to unseat that as the web comic wedding of the summer.

I did an overhaul on the site. No major redesign changes, but it's much more functional. I added all the comics I did since August (I was having FTP/motivation issues)

http://www.earlyconan.com

HIT THE HOT SPOTS!

EXTRA EXTRA! Make sure you check out the amazing "Fan" comic by Mr. Joe Allen:

COMMENTARY FOR EVERY STRIP! Hastily written but RECENTLY spell-checked, check it out if you like things explained to you or if you like extremely specific references pointed out to you!
