Hey Tom,

How about the new Bob Seger album? I've only heard the new single, which is totally "Against the Wind 2."

Also, if the albums don't need to be new releases - and really, do they? - how about Townsend's Empty Glass?

You can spend the next five lifetimes trashing uninspired has-beens, and Tom ran out of ideas for the Brian Wilson UFRR rather quickly. I'd rather here an unfair review of something like Soupjam, something that's gotten undue acclaim. I wouldn't mind hearing, say, the Decemberists or the Hold Steady brought down to earth.

But The Kid works in mysterious ways. UFRRs arrive unbidden and unexpected.

I'm in total agreement. The phrase "fish in a barrel" comes to mind.
