Title: Selling Used books - ebay?
Post by: Matthew_S on May 31, 2008, 08:49:36 PM
I have a pile of books that I am thinking of selling. Mostly genre and 'literary' stuff, some of it limited and signed editions (don't ask).
Is ebay the way to go?  If so, any tips on getting started?  I'm in NYC area, so maybe bring them to the Strand?  Will they pay more for signed copies?

Related tangent -- who still buys used CDs in Manhattan?

Kim's on St. Marks buys used cd's.
There are probably more places, but that's the only spot I know of.

You'd probably do better selling stuff used on Amazon, since you can list under Amazon's listing for the title.  It'll also let you see what others are charging for what you've got.  The signed editions I'd throw on eBay.
