Wow, there's like a whole album of songs!
-
This is being played by Joe Belock on the air right now.
Second "on the air right now" post in two days! What am I, superman?
-
I LOVED IT!
-
The sheer volume of the sound nearly blew my ears off, be advised to take out your earbuds before the festivities...ouch.
-
All of that to sell hoagies?! A music festival website rejected that intro for being too "over the top".
My jaw literally dropped, I love it so much.
-
YESSSSSSS this rules. WAWA is so #1.
-
What fantastic music! I miss living near a Wawa :(
-
What the crap....."The buns can be toasted"???!!!

Liz Berg played it yesterday too. Between this and PBR's countless Wawa mentions, I'm beginning to think that WFMU is getting a little help under the table.
-
Pseu Braun also played one of the Hoagiefest songs. That's three!
-
my band jokes around with some of our songs sometimes at practice and makes lyrics about wawa hoagies. i wish we would have known about this beforehand, we could have put in a bid to make the songs!!
-
George Harrison also has a song about Wawa.

Best Beatle, hands down.

Same album, also a song about pepperoni. I think he was in Philly when he recorded it. I read that somewhere. (If "somewhere" counts as me reading it right after I wrote it. I say it does.)

Add Joe Belock to the list.

I love that song.

Can someone figure out how to get mp3s of these?
I think I'm going to write Joe Belock. I need these songs.
-
You can download them from the website, click menu then freebies and they should be right there.
-
Evan Funk Davies played "Turkey So Fine" the other day - twice!
-
Hoagiefest is a complete sham now that Wawa has turned its back on the greatest city in the world (http://www.philly.com/philly/business/homepage/20080727_PhillyDeals__Wawa_hoagie_rolls_now_from_Vineland.html). Also of note in the article, the first shot is fired in the Philadelphia-Chicago bread war.
-
wawa is still above such chains as Texas' Kum 'n' Go and Colorado's Loaf 'n' Jug.

I know you're joking, but as a Philly native, I take these things seriously. And I'll say that this does not bother me. Wawa is as much a NJ thing as it is a Philly thing.

You're clearly making both of those up.

I guess Kum & Go is actually headquartered in Iowa.
-
My boyfriend always brings me back a Kum n Go lighter when he comes home from touring. They're great icebreakers at parties.
-
It's like WaWa asked him to come up with an ad campaign.
