Title: Bloomfield Vegan
Post by: Jason on June 17, 2008, 09:10:29 AM
For those of you who weren't in Hoboken last night. The sound cuts out but it's all we got.

What a great show.  The new songs sounded very good -- rockers.

Wowza
Great transition between the two songs, too.

Thing is - it's genuinely a good song! Tom was too harsh on Dworkin.

I think the original lacked a lot of the melody and general musicality of this version.

i love the concept of the song being made in two hours, over the air, via internet, and becoming a smash- live.  albeit, i didnt contribute to making the song (i refrain from calling, ive got nothing to say), but i'll brag.

i'll brag!

He was looking for a band! This is probably exactly what he envisioned!

Ted should have enlisted Commander Giggles to add some keyboard textures.

A TOE-TAPPER!

Not only is Teddy Rockstar a craftsman, but him and the RX are great sports for agreeing to do this in the first place. Not alot of musicians would agree to an experiment like this while they were in the studios. Any other band wouldn't even be answering the phone.

Where was this show at?

I've been stalking Musikoff of Stuyvesant from one of her pictures. I show up where he works and I sit there for hours.

I just had the biggest smile plastered on my face watching that.  TL and RX are gods among men.  It may sound strange, but I'm listing lyrics-approved-and-sung-by-Ted-Leo-and-dissed-by-pitchfork in my current Top 10 achievements in life list.

I think it is very cool that Ted Leo and the Best Show have a Bryce-Ditchweed-Tight-Bros relationship.
