Title: Electronics accessories store in Manhattan - ?
Post by: Matthew_S on June 18, 2008, 08:27:56 PM

I use an Iriver Clix mp3 player.  I somehow managed to lose the USB connecting cable for it.  Any idea what store in Manhattan might carry this?

I believe the iRiver Clix uses a standard mini-b usb connector (http://www.jr.com/belkin/pe/BKN_F3U138_hy_06/). it shouldn't cost you more than five or ten dollars.  When I lived in New York, I always went to J&R down by city hall for these sort of things, but I'm sure you could find the right kind of cable at any better store like PC Richard or B&H Photo on 34th.

If you don't mind being treated like a criminal rather than a customer, by all means check out J&R.

If you want to pay more, there's always Radio Hut®.

I noticed this too, but it didn't put me off because I always thought being treated like a criminal in electronics stores was par for the course while living in New York.
