Longshanks is playing in NYC this Saturday at Piano's. C'mon! You have all week to see Patton Oswalt. I know Piano's is only a step up from Arlene's Grocery, but it's an early show. You can be in and out in a half hour. I promise an economy of rock.
Saturday June 28– $10
Basement Band–11pm
Chris Maher– 10pm
Longshanks– 9pm
Birdlips– 8pm
I'm not familiar with the other bands playing, and after skipping through their MySpace pages, I... uh, wouldn't have paired our band with any of them. I can guarantee we will make more noise then them.
I hope to see some of you! We'll laugh laugh and laugh and run in circles and laugh.
C!

Weird. Birdlips are acquaintances of mine from down here in Va. They're nice and write interesting songs, but they're pretty, not noisy.

Very pretty. They're going to make us look like goons. Who matches these bands up?
Now that I'm looking at our myspace page... we don't exactly come across as high energy.
