The two that come to mind for me are:
Are You Sexy or What?
Tom On
-
Oh, and the Build a Movie game.
-
Turk 182 It
It deserves a second chance!
-
Getting to Know You / Getting to Know Me
-
Oh, and the Build a Movie game.
These are indeed heroic shows, I nearly split my pancreas for "I'm Archie Bunker!"
-
Oh, and the Build a Movie game.
I want that back.
Also: "I Love/I Hate"
-
I thought Filthy Bathrooms in Public Places had a lot of potential.
-
I always enjoy the "Why do I keep doing this to myself?" and "Oh god what have I done?" type topics.
The five people you would least like to have dinner with was a good one too.
-
Five People You'd Least Want to Have Dinner With was a breakout topic. I'm trying to get my wife into the shows (she loves the JW calls but hasn't really heard the rest of the show) so I brought that, along with Worst Song of All Time and Ugliest Band of All Time, with us on a long car trip.
-
I think it would be fun to have a week where people could call in to discuss any previous topic, but don't have any reminders of the previous topics (so, the callers would have to remember the topics to be able to call in)
-
I clamor for a list-show in which historical topics are ranked.

For this to work, there would have to be a rule about not choosing a topic someone else has already chosen. Otherwise, someone will call in with an old topic, and every call after that will be people also using that topic.
Let's face it, sometimes callers hop on a train and won't get off. Think about the disaster that was "Things That Haunt You."

That was actually a great topic - I especially loved the slow reveal some of the calls had. They'd start out talking about something kind of innocuous, then suddenly a ghost would appear. It was a very Pre-Taped Call In Show moment.

1. England winning the World Cup
2. Live Aid
3. Boston Tea Party
4. Battle of the Somme

I'm not sure if this has already been a topic or not, but I think it would make for an interesting show: Things With The Worst Fans. As a special subcategory, or maybe just to weed out all the obvious answers, What Is The Best Thing With The Worst Fans?
Anything could be on the table - bands, TV shows, films, books, sports teams - and the latter version of the question could get into things that you might otherwise like but are put off by other fans, or things you do like but are kind of embarrassed to be associated with the fanbase.

Deadheads
Trekkies
Elayne Boozler fanatics
Recycling obsessives (we call them Trash Enthusiasts.) Don't throw me under the bus here; I am not saying that conservation is unimportant, just that, for the most part, Trash Enthusiasts have not come up with a palatable way of educating that. The term "shrill" comes to mind.
I was just joking about Elayne Boozler fanatics; is there one?

& Pay me
also, the Slap List.
