Can anyone please tell me the date of that show? I've seen the terrific art contest youtube clip and remember listening to it a year or so ago when I first discovered the show and started exploring the archives, and have tried searching through to find it recently but haven't yet.
Appreciate any help.

March 29, 2005: Tom Gives Voice To The Disenfranchised.

That is my favorite call ever.
"I'm not your friend, I'm your foe."
-
Mac! That kid was poised for greatness - I wish he'd have stuck with it a little longer...

KTB and Emily's video of that call is my one of my very favorite things. I've easily watched it thirty times.

I know everyone's probably seen it, but thought it worth reposting here.

I've always wondered if that was the same Mac of 'Wiggie Malmsteen' fame, because I was just listening to the Jimmy Crespo call recently (total GOLD), and wondered why we didn't hear much from him after.
okay, that sentence doesn't make much sense.

Mac probably knows a lot about metal by now.

Oh man, "Hey what's up, buddy" is the funniest opening to a call.
-
the kid you are referring to is in fact not the Mac i know. this is just some dumb kid.

This maybe belongs in the "Friends of friends" thread, but I know Dan Bukszpan, the guy who wrote the heavy metal book Mac refers to during the Jimmy Crespo call.
-
Oh man, I love it when Mac reveals that Arrow Smith has been around longer than the Crue. Shocking Heavy Metal Expose.

Oh man, I just noticed the name. As you can see, I'm really new to the board, and the show for that matter. I'll change the name.

I read "Dave B" at least five times before I remembered that was my real life name. That's how boring it is.
That said, I think you should keep the username "Dave B" and then challenge "Dan B" to a decathlon.

I used to think I was special, then I discovered a world of Dave Bs. There was a rash of Davids and Daves in the late 60's, early 70's.
