My wife and I were driving to the reception for my cousin's wedding in Baltimore this weekend and making the usual childish Wire jokes, when we hit the turnoff for the reception and passed the Baltimore Sun. We get to the "museum" where the reception is, and it has... wait for it... a Special Exhibition about The Wire. Including such artifacts as the bloody shirt from Stringer Bell's last take, notes on Bubbles makeup, Prop Ice (but no Prop Joe puns, what's up with that?), and Dookie's fan.
We were both ecstatic and embarrassed. Stayed in the Inner Harbor, and BOY, that Carcetti has done a hell of a job cleaning up that place!
