Um....Anthrax and Public Enemy? I got nothing.
-
That Run DMC Aerosmith thing was pretty good.
Wait, what does good mean again?

I've always loved the dumb macho posturing in the breakdown of "Wrong Side Of The Tracks" by Biohazard.

"I wanna lay ya in the mud... honey!"

Some of those Faith No More deep cuts were... interesting.

Didn't the dude from Godflesh have a rap group at one point? I've never heard it but it probably sucks.

Techno Animal (http://www.google.com/search?ie=UTF-8&oe=UTF-8&q=%22brotherhood+of+the+bomb%22&domains=wfmu.org&sitesearch=wfmu.org). It wasn't metal and it's actually pretty good. From Brian Turner's show (http://www.wfmu.org/listen.ram?show=1718&archive=1473&starttime=0:25:00).
As for good rap metal?? No such thing.

I still stand by most of the stuff on Angel Dust and King For A Day.... I know it hasn't aged all that well, but it was important to me in my teen years and way better than most of the other alt-crap of the era. Maybe that isn't saying much.

I'm with you on this one.

"She Watch Channel Zero"! SLAYERRRRRR
Apparently that was Hank Shocklee's idea and not Reign in Blood/Nation of Millions co-producer Rick Rubin's.

Good one, Stupornaut.
In college, I went through a phase of loving "Slaughterama" by Gwar. That kinda counts as rap metal.

I agree re. "She Watch Channel Zero." I also really like the Del the Funkeehomosapien's collaboration with Dinosaur Jr on the Judgment Night soundtrack.

Run-DMC's "Rock Box" and "King of Rock" were pre-"Walk This Way," and pretty, um... dope.

I was just gonna say that. It's a great example of an awful movie with a soundtrack that is more well remembered.
Out of all the 1990s rap metal, the only stuff that I'd still call decent or good is Rage Against the Machine and Cypress Hill. Everything else = yikes.
