Just the other day I was telling someone* that she was using the word "anomaly" incorrectly only to discover that she was indeed correct and I was wrong.
So despite the opening line of Love American Style by the Mr T Experience clearly stating "You're an anomaly, that's a thing without a name." it does in fact mean a person who is unusual or a deviation from the normal or common order or form or rule.

Thanks for making me look stupid Dr Frank, I'm assuming that doctorate wasn't in English.

I was just trying to create a myspace account for Pizza Aficionado, but after 14 tries I gave up.  There must already be one, or something. 

Eh, it probably wouldn't have been that funny anyway.
