Red Hot Chili Peppers in the #8 slot is even more appalling!

I agree; they are terrible.  I focused on Neil D. for its BestShow relevance (though, I guess, #1 - Dark Side also had its BestShow extended moment of glory)

Ignoring the hometown heroes (Midnight Oil, Silverchair, Wolfmother, the Living End), there are still many surprising appearances.

That list is nonsense, no Stones until #95 and it's Sticky Fingers. Utter maddness.
