Title: "Indie payola exists and I've proven it tonight."

I've been working my way through the archives. 2006 starts with a great bunch of shows, but the Jan 31 2006 show was the best of the best. Starts with a fascinating conversation with Spike. Bryce and Marky Ramone call in. Some trolls try to get on Tom's nerves and Tom handles them masterfully. Tom gets accused of taking money from Matador. The icing on the cake/pie are a couple of short but hilarious impromptu calls from JW towards the end. 5 stars.

Is that the same show where the guy calls in and accuses Tom of taking DC Snipers money? That was a great moment.

Yes! Another favorite moment: Bryce reveals he's into Lightning Bolt.

I listened to this a few months ago and the Mawky Ramone romance novel excerpt is priceless.
