Title: McCain used up his "cool" moment a few years ago...
Post by: mike a on September 05, 2008, 10:29:10 PM
...when he guest-hosted SNL and Fericito helped him develop a catchphrase (eventually deciding on "I'm just keeding!")  Since there's no clip of that online, here's "McCain Sings Streisand" from the same ep.

Holy cow. I mentioned John McCain and Jimmy Fallon in the same breath and I totally forget that this actually happened.

John McCain's 'Cool Moment' possibilities died with Bob Hope.  No Bob Hope special appearances for him.

Wasn't McCain's cool moment when he appeared on the cover of Pizza Aficionado magazine wearing the Senator Pizza t-shirt?

Is tucking your shirt in what divides the rockers from the squares? I can certainly tell who's cool at this stuffy state function.

C'mon Bono. It looks like you just walked out of the bathroom without checking the mirror. I walked around with some toilet paper stuck to my shoe this morning and no one asked for my autograph. Someone said, "dude... check out your foot..." and I flashed him the peace sign.
