The power is out in most of my city. Luckily it's on at work, but I was starving until this morning because all of the shops are closed. I work at a hospital, so they have a cafeteria where I could get disgusting food for breakfast, which is better than no food. But it's greasy and makes my stomach hurt! And I didn't have a hairdryer this morning or any light for putting on make-up. How can I make sure my zits are covered if I can't see? Yesterday, I started listening to a really stupid audiobook and everything went out just when it started to good. And I wanted to keep listening to it! Plus, what's worst of all, is that I realized how incredibly selfish and spoiled I am. I mean, if I were going to do something about it, then it would be a good thing to know, but I'm not going to do anything about it and it makes me hate myself. I hope I forget when the power comes back on.

No power in Columbus either.

It's not supposed to be back for two or three days! How am I going to listen to the show tomorrow?

There are tons of giant old trees in my neighborhood that got knocked over. I'm glad our giant old tree fell on the neighbors house a few months ago because I just wouldn't want to deal with that today. One of the trailers I work in had a bunch of stuff blown off it, so I got to see the wheels. I didn't know trailers had wheels.

I hope you Ohioans remember which party was in the White House when you had to sit in the dark and brood.

I can't believe what I've heard about Ohio. No, not the recent polls, the recent weird weather. What the #$%^?!?
It just sounds so strange. How could this kind of weather hit half the Buckeye State? I want some answers from the weather people. In the meantime, fare thee well, Julie, I hope you and your stuff and your people are ok.

Still no power at my house, though the other side of my street has it. Looks like I'll have to miss the show tonight. Boo-hoo.

I miss eclectricity.

"Hey honey, I bet you were really something before electricity."

We had a power cut too! The supermarkets ran out of food so they started getting desperate and selling some really unusual products!

I still have no electricity! I forgot to think of bringing my laptop to work until I got to work, so I can't listen to last night's show. And my bakery still has no power, so I've been buying something to eat at the hospital cafeteria every morning. And it's so gross! Feel sorry for me. Also, please admire my toughness to get through this ordeal.
