I don't even know why I'm curious enough to ask this. Maybe I have too much time on my hands tonight.
I can think of:
Bob Saget
Dane Cook
Abbott & Costello
Jerry Seinfeld
Jay Leno
Ernie Kovacs
David Brenner
Billy Crystal
Jeff Garlin
Robin Williams
-
Emo Phillips
-
Doctor Dirty
-
Rich Hall and his Sniglets
-
Lenny Bruce
-
George Carlin
Carlos Mencia
-
Jimmy Parton.
(I don't think Tom really dislikes Shooter, but it's fun thinking on-air Tom does)
-
Andy Milonakis ?

Andy Milonakis ?

Ray Jay Johnson. I thought only my father hated (heard of) him.

He's defined as one on Wikipedia:

I think he dislikes Jim Norton. I remember in one of his blog posts where he talked about Don Rickles, he mentioned that Jim Norton and others' style of insult comedy isn't funny, just mean.
-
According to FOTpedia:
George Carlin is the unfunniest funny person according to Tom. Here is the Top 10 List as determined on the 11/29/05 show:
1. George Carlin
2. Dennis Miller
3. Robin Williams
4. Denis Leary
5. Adam Carolla
6. Rob Schneider
7. Billy Connolly
8. Carlos Mencia
9. The 3 Stooges
10. Lenny Bruce
-
.... he mentioned that Jim Norton and others' style of insult comedy isn't funny, just mean.
he's wrong about this.

How many spots do we think Mencia has moved up in 3 years? Also, does Dane Cook knock anyone off the list?
-
I'm thinking George Carlin moves down the list since he just passed away, Dennis Miller, Adam Corolla and Rob Schneider are non-issues, while Dane Cook has gotta be on that list somewhere.

I think Jim Norton is pretty good. I don't care to hear him and some of the Opie & Anthony type comics talk about how Don Imus was a hero and how they're so anti-PC, but Norton has a well-polished act for the raunch crowd.
I read Omar's recap and I guess this was the topic on 11/29/05. I think it's a topic worth revisiting, or at least a mini-topic to make a new top 10 list. Dane Cook still needs to be on there, even if his fanbase has died. I live in the Boston area and he was honored in mid-September with "Dane Cook Day" in Boston. Yikes!

Lisa Lampanelli
i dont imagine Tom liking her.

She's certainly not funny enough for the ticket prices she charges. I was just looking on Ticketmaster at the lineup at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston. Tickets for Lisa Lampanelli go for $37 to $57. Artie Lange is $58-$75!

how does being dead make him less unfunny?

Paul F Tompkins

Although he professes to like him, I always sensed a tension (read: hatred) between Tom and Patton Oswalt.

It doesn't, I just thought the man deserved a little bit of respect is all... maybe to be taken off the list for a month or two.

Demetri Martin? For some reason his last special started getting on my nerves.
-
Let's make this easy: if Tom doesn't single out a specific comedian for praise, it's safe to assume he dislikes them.
-
One of Tom's top ten least funny is in the news today. Denis Leary apparently slams autism in his new book. Which begs the question: WHY DOES DENIS LEARY HAVE A BOOK OUT!?

Leary's such a tool. I live in the Boston area and I can't stand the guy showing up at dumb charity events in the area, acting like he's a hero.
