Post by: Poughkeepsie on October 06, 2008, 11:05:15 PM
With the upcoming election and Newbridge finally getting internet access, Mayubernatorial candidates homepages have been popping up left and right!

Rather than making a new post every time one comes out I thought I'd concentrate them all in one thread.Could a mod delete the others?

Tor for Mayor of Newbridge (http://www.gunpowderlove.net/tor.html)

PBR for Mayor of Newbridge (http://www.gunpowderlove.net/pbr.html)

AP Mike for Mayor of Newbridge (http://www.gunpowderlove.net/apmike.html)with thanks to Regular Joe

Ex-Bishop Pablo Fontana for Mayor of Newbridge (http://www.gunpowderlove.net/fontana.html)

Zachary Brimstead Esquire for Mayor of Newbridge (http://www.gunpowderlove.net/zb.html)with thanks to Omar

Todd Palin for Mayor of Newbridge (http://www.gunpowderlove.net/todd.html)

Get to know your Candidates! Vote! (http://www.friendsoftom.com/forum/index.php/topic,4034.0.html)

Looks like those aren't the only people campaigning for something...

Really slick though - PBR's is especially good (yeah, I'm biased. So what?).

The background music for Tor's page is awesome. Brimstead's problem with "Host", killed me. Great work on all of the pages!

These are uniformly excellent, so I must say I approve! That James is a one hell of a guy... wait, what?

I like the connection between Rodrigo and the Bishop.  Has that been firmly established during a call, or just by the voice?

And what connection does Mike Dornton have to them both?  I predict a Seymour Hirsch piece.

It was definitely confirmed. I'm pretty sure the Bishop did the confirming, but I can't remember for sure.

Confirmed during the debate.

SCHARPLING: Uh ... (laughs) I'm gonna probably guess it's you.

FONTANA: It is me, yes!

FONTANA: And my brother Rrrrrodriguo ...

SCHARPLING: Uh huh ... yes ...

FONTANA: He's the Jesus of Fontanetics.

SCHARPLING: (chuckles) That's your brother?!

FONTANA: Oh yeah, did you not know that Rrrrodriguo, you know he makes the famous pins.

SCHARPLING: Yes.

FONTANA: The drum pins.

SCHARPLING: The drum pins.

FONTANA: Yeah, some people say we have similar voice.

SCHARPLING: Uh, yeah I can hear the ... I can hear it. You guys are prob--

FONTANA: Little lilt.

SCHARPLING: Yeah, you're related. I can hear that.

You have the website-making skills to pay the website-making...rent?

I'm sure there's a catchier way to phrase that.

These are awesome.  Love Todd Palin's website.  I wish he'd link to a live webcam overlooking the Dischord house or something cool like that.

The "Shoot me a jpeg" link on the Palin site gave me a laugh.

I can't get over the suspicion that clicking on one of the links will take me to a site with just the word "JAMES!" flashing across the screen.
