To stay current and informed of cool stuff, but to avoid subscribing to the RSS feeds of the hundred billion worthwhile blogs and magazines out there, I like to subscribe to aggregator-type sites: Arts & Letters Daily, Polymeme, Memeorandum, and Techmeme. (Enough with "meme" already!) (And things more specialized to my area of interest, like Benton's Communication Headlines, but those are boooor-ing.)
Anyone know of any sites that are good at trawling through the "quality" magazines out there, New Yorker, Atlantic, Harpers etc, and pulling out the good bits? I'm looking for a relatively commentary free website that links to the better examples of long form journalism out there. So I don't for example, have to subscribe to the New Yorker feed and everything else.
