Check in if you voted! Also, check in if you didn't vote. I for one would be fascinated to know why and would try not to judge.
-
No, non-citizen.
-
Yes, I voted! It was the last time in Seattle we'll be able to go to the polls instead of mailing in our ballots, so I got a good feeling from that.
-
No, non-citizen. :-X
-
Just got home. It took me 10 minutes total, including waiting in line.
Now I'm just gonna go watch the news for the next 10 hours...
-
Ja, bitte.
I even voted to change my town's crooked mayubernatorial election procedures. Seriously. Right now, the mayor is elected by a board that he personally selects.
-
I voted absentee about a week ago. My district in Connecticut has the last remaining Republican congressman in New England (Chris Shays) and he has an tight race against a Democrat this year. As much as Shays shows every sign of being a great guy personally, I decided to vote on the actual issues for the Democrat.
-
Yes.
in California where I am still registered.
Pres - duh. Obama
8 - no
Representative - Nancy Pelosi
other than that I don't remember.
Voting for propositions in California is super-hard, I find. I can never tell by the two sentence description if its good or not. There will be a tax reform law that sounds great, turns out its worded Bush-esque where it sounds helpful but is actually the opposite.

I did the early voting thing in Ohio last Friday. 3 hour wait, but I didn't mind. I'm currently muddling my way through Infinite Jest, and since the amount of time which I have to devote to said muddling has been greatly decreased by all the election stuff, it was kinda nice to just have 3 straight hours to read.

On October 20, in cushy surroundings already described.
-
Vote for what? Is there an election going on?
-
Right here, you godless American!
PUDGE PUDGE PUDGE PUDGE (etc.).
-
I voted almost two weeks ago. I love the mail in ballot. It gives you time to really look into everything that's on the ballot.
-
Voted here in Ohio. Took about 5 minutes total. Now I'm in for a night of staring at Wolf Blitzer and various other news folk.
-
Over a week ago. All ballots are by mail here.
-
voted a few weeks. GO BLUE MISSOURI!
-
Yep, another short wait. Let's use Obama's plan to redistribute our election day volunteers to places that really need help! I don't think I would vote if I had to stand in line for an hour and a half or longer.
-
Yes.
For Bush.
-
I got into the voting booth this morning, and I reached for the lever for Obama -- and then I heard voices. They were the voices of the Virgin Mary, Robert E. Lee, and Warren Harding, all saying, "Don't do it! Think about it. Is this the kind of country you really want?"
I thought something sounded really fishy. So I stopped for a minute and thought. Why would the Virgin Mary want me to vote for McCain anyway? Whatever. Then I realized what was going on. I said, "Warren Harding, you hypocrite. You were part African-American! YOU were our first black president!"
There was a long silence. And then I pulled the lever for Obama. And it felt great.

Voted a couple of weeks ago by absentee ballot in NJ. I had fun writing in Mike Gravel's name.
-
Yep. Skipped school to do it!
-
Voted early, first day.
However voting [D] for President in Texas is like bailing on the Titanic.
-
When I was in New York I beat someone up and stole their identity. McCain '08!
-
Emma '12!
-
Emma/Sarah '12!
(Sarah/Emma '12?)
-
Yes, in Virginia. I also got my free doughnut at Krispy Kreme.
-
ah yup

Don't forget your Starbucks coffee and Ben & Jerry's.
"Get out the vote, bribe them with treats!"

Well, as I've already bragged, I can see Canada from my house.
-
I hope this isn't too indecent, but those of you near the feminist *ahem* sex-toy store Babeland (NYC or Seattle) can get free stuff too. See link for details.

Voted absentee ballot in Vermont, the first state to go Obama's way.
-
I voted yesterday and went out to help get folks out to the polls today for several hours!
-
I voted at 15:00, only took three minutes or so.
-
Voted for Obama in NJ. Got through it in like 10 or 15 minutes. As Tom has just said, New Jersey has done the right thing and went for Obama!
-
It was glorious that our polling place was a 10 minute walk away from our house, and because our last name was towards the end of the alphabet, we were in and out in no time. We didn't have any cool referendums though.
-
I voted at 6am and then walked home and went back to bed before work. Best hour of sleep I've had in months.

Good on ya, TRL.
-
Voted for Obama. Took about an hour. I listened to Jordan Jesse Go while I waited.
-
Voted for Obama in Michigan at 8 a.m. in between interviewing voters for an Election Day story. It took about five minutes (no lines!).
-
absolutely
-
voted at 6am yesterday. took over an hour.
not sure why the booth required quarters and only showed me dirty movies. anyway, i voted for "Money Shots Number 26."
-
i'm late.
i voted. although, when i was filling out the FIRST ballot, i overheard poll volunteers discuss that theyve been having problems with the ballot machine all day. anyway, it didn't take my ballot initially so i had to go back and fill the ballot out again. ew buoy.
