I think the season 6 "Sopranos" episode "Luxury Lounge" needs to be on this list.

Additions:
Newsradio - Super Karate Monkey Death Car - http://www. hulu.com/watch/18770/
Larry Sanders - Everybody Loves Larry (http://www.tv.com/the-larry-sanders-show/everybody-loves-larry/episode/46742/summary.html)
King of the Hill - The Exterminator (http://www.geocities.com/arlen_texas/exterminator.htm)

From that King of the Hill episode just because I love it:
Quote
Dale: You didn't have to drive me to work, Hank. I wasn't going to ditch.
Hank: Well, that's not what you told Bobby.
Dale: Your son's a liar. And a blabbermouth.

Newsradio - Super Karate Monkey Death Car - http://www. hulu.com/watch/18770/

By far one of the greatest! I can't believe I'm still mourning Phil Hartman and this show so hard, even after the Lovitz years. Not to mention both Andy Dick and Joe Rogan in general, post Newsradio.

my addition:

Brass Eye - Paedogeddon (http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=9031532194656768989)
M*A*S*H - Hawkeye (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hawkeye_(M*A*S*H_episode))

If I could, I'd put all four of the episodes with Andrea the efficiency expert on the list. They're all just spectacular television.

And ditto the Joe Rogan and Andy Dick. Were it not for Newsradio, I don't think anyone would have any clue that Andy Dick is one of the most gifted physical comics ever. He never, ever, ever did anything this funny again.

I don't know if I can find clips for each one, but here's a list and a brief synopsis without jokes (making the whole thing seem unfunny).

01. Seinfeld, The Race (S6 E10)
Jerry's girlfriend Lois works for a man whom insists Jerry cheated during a high-school race and clamours for a re-run. Elaine dates a communist. Kramer begins work as a department store Santa with Mickey. George is the glue that holds this episode together.

02. Peep Show, University (S2 E4)
Jeremy and Super Hans join the band Executioner's Bong for a tour of south-coast Universities, but things go wrong. Mark tags along for the ride, masquerading as a student in pursuit of a woman he met in a shoe-shop earlier that week.

(embedding disabled, bah)

03. The Ren and Stimpy Show, To Salve and Salve Not! (S3 E1)
A salesman attempts to sell cans of salve to Stimpy, much to Ren's chagrin.

04. Early Doors, Big Boys' Beano (S1 E6)
The male regulars of The Grapes gather for breakfast before their day at the races, followed by a pair of sister strippers called 'Twin Cheeks'. We never see the day out, but we see their reminscences as they return to The Grapes for a lock-in round of drinks.

05. I'm Alan Partridge, Watership Alan (S1 E3)
Alan becomes the target of hate by local farmers after offensive comments on his radio show. He also lands a job presenting a video brochure for a canal-boating holiday company.

Absolutely right about the tragic career arc of Andy Dick (though I don't exactly feel sorry for him). The episode that really pushed this show into 'classic' territory for me was the one in which James Caan visits the office and becomes obsessed with Matthew.

Wonder Showzen - Patience

Really? The FUNNIEST? I think what they did was really funny, and I laughed, but I still changed the channel.

There are better Wonder Showzen episodes.

It was a funny idea, but is somewhat excruciating to watch. The Horse Apples episode trumps it for sure.

Yea exactly. Like I think the idea is funny, it fit with the theme. I thought "Wow, this is different and cool."

But funniest? No. Wonder Showzen is great though. I don't remember what specific episode it was, but my favorite is the one where Chauncey is talking to someone who is holding a Chauncey puppet, and that Chauncey puppet is talking to a smaller version of someone also holding a smaller Chauncey puppet, and that puppet is talking to another person who is holding an even smaller Chauncey puppet, etc. etc. etc. God, the way that spiraled blew my fucking mind.

Also:

"How was the bowl of soup?"
"What bowl of soup?"
"You know, the one you got free with that haircut."

That kid is like a miniature Don "The Original Punk" Rickles.

The pilot episode of On The Air is still one of the funniest things I have seen on tv.

That one brings back great memories.

Keep them coming. This thread reminded me to check out Peep Show and Early Doors.

Proof that David Lynch is never more bizarre than when his sense of humor is fully unleashed.
