Title: It's studying time, what energy products do you advise?
Post by: yesno on November 26, 2008, 02:23:32 AM
So, are there any herbal products still on the market that contain nature's speed?  Or did the Man outlaw them all?  I've noted that certain bottled matte products have the effect of giving me the energy of an 80s comedian.

I used to take Ma Huang for the pleasurable feeling it would give me when I ran my fingernails over my skull, but the FDA had to step in just to prevent a few measly heart attacks.

But now, I need to study the world's most boring material, and I'd like to see how far I can get to making a SEPTA run while staying within the bounds of the law.

I wish I could.

Being and Nothingness and most of Phil Dick's 1960s pulp novels were written in a benzedrine frenzy.  I've taken sudafed, drunk red bull, and made myself write long, boring papers before.  Very effective.

I'm thinking more along the lines of legal stuff.  I think it might be bad to get hooked on scrips only a few months before I have to take the bar.

On a related note:

Crystal meth:  not bad for everyone

Get the adder now so you are used to it. If you want something now you will definitely want something during bar review.

And the first meth guy -- looks like it cures baldness.

I am in the school library, which is apparently where I live now, so I asked the kids sitting next to me.

math student: "Wake-ups. Just, like, twelve of them at once."
fancy artist chick: "Espresso shots. Just, like, twelve of them at once."
badass tech guy: "Coffee and polyphasic sleep (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Polyphasic_sleep)."

There you have it.

It's probably not as dramatic as you're hoping for, but ginseng has anti-stress, energizing, and focus-improving effects.

And it turned the top-right girl into Sideshow Bob. What the hell?

Whatever you do, don't masturbate.  Makes you distracted, irritable, and lazy for like 4 hours afterwards.  Trust me, I know from experience.

So I'm a polyphasic sleeper!  I feel so much better now that I have a label.
